So I finally blocked off a few hours to teach myself the ins and outs of Git and I must say it has been very productive. If you are not using Git yet, something tells me you will be using it soon. But on a PC, Git has an app you can use that is pretty cool. But one lame issue is you can’t copy and paste. This is problematic when you are trying to retrieve old Git commits and you need to copy part of the SHA1 hash.
The solution is to use Cygwin. Think of it as Unix for the PC.
