Show Path in Mac Title

When you open the finder you just see the name of the folder in the title of the window. Wouldn’t it be great to see the path to where that folder is? Is that even possible? Yes it is.

In case you need a visual, this is usually what we see when we use the Finder and open a folder:

Just type the following in the Terminal:

defaults write _FXShowPosixPathInTitle -bool Yes

Then press return and type the following in the Terminal (This will close and reopen the Finder):

killall Finder

Open a folder in the Finder now and you should see something like this:
